PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
Engagement photography is a great way to remember and cherish the first moments of your official path to "I Do." At Arts Ink Photography in Whitinsville, MA we know how important it is to deliver incredible engagement photos at a reasonable cost. We also pride ourselves on exceptional customer service. On any given day our couples and families can reach us via phone, email, text and even Facebook messenger. We are an "in touch" company owned and operated by Photographer Kristy-Lee Belcourt, and know the importance of delivering a product in real time.
It's important to us at Arts Ink Photography to make sure that you are getting the very best images, and that your engagement photos are exactly what you want. That's why we encourage your input, ask questions and even share pin boards with our bride's to be. That way if there is a special shot you just have to try we can re-create it for you.
Engagement portrait sessions usually last 1-2 hours depending on how you structure your session. Sessions usually take place outdoors at a location of your choice. If you don't have one in mind, don't worry we'll help you choose one. During the colder months locations like the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, or the Museum of Science Butterfly Garden can be fun spots to take images as well. We'll consult you about certain things that can really make your engagement photos or announcements interesting and creative. You can talk about the themes and locations that might be more relevant and more comfortable to you as a couple and arrange the ideas that will work best. And if your engagement is a surprise - we'll make sure your engagement session is discreet and charming (you don't want the photo shoot to keep you from a happy "yes").
How much do Engagement Photos cost?
Engagement photography is generally priced at $125 per hour (plus travel depending on the location), and include a full online gallery with all your images. Unlimited edits and enhancements are included, as well as standard props. We encourage you to bring props along with you that are personal to your relationship. In most cases, engagement pictures come included with your wedding package. We also have stand alone Engagement Packages and Specials.

The best method for selecting an engagement photographer is to consider the purpose of the shoot, what you have in mind for the images, your budget and timeline. Look for a photographer whose portfolio has examples similar to what you have in mind.
Decide On Deliverables
Be sure to consult with us on what your goals are for the shoot and what you intend to do with the images. You should also consider what your turnaround time ideally looks like. With this info we can send you a proposal on what we can achieve and for what price. Make sure you review the proposal and ask any questions to make the contract as clear as possible prior to the shoot.

After The Shoot
Most engagement pictures will be delivered digitally within 1-2 weeks. If you use Arts Ink Photography, you can use the image preview room to select your favorites. Engagement photos are often touched up in post-production (where we corrects lighting, color grades or removes blemishes, etc from the image).
